Every prospective employee who has visited PassiveLogic makes a point of highlighting the incredible team we've built. It's not an accident. We've gathered the smartest engineers and experts across various domains to tackle the biggest opportunity in decarbonization — hands down.

If you are looking at a role at PassiveLogic, know that technical expertise is just the first of many boxes we check when interviewing.

Over the past few weeks, I've interacted with different companies — most of which are cut from a very different cloth — and I’ve reflected a bit on the effort we’ve put into incubating the foundational traits of PassiveLogic's culture.

The 5 most important being: Openness, Curiosity, Collaboration, Rigor, and Endurance.🔥

These team traits form a unique culture shape at PassiveLogic — and it’s pretty distinct amongst other tech companies. It’s also intentional. PassiveLogic has built the world’s most comprehensive AI stack to enable autonomous systems and infrastructural robotics. We have relied on this team culture to drive the paradigm shifts and technological breakthroughs that come as a result to the empathic customer-driven, design-led approach to reinventing the automation market.

The core traits we value, and why:

🧭 Openness - the enabling trait to explore all the possibilities. If you aren’t open to new ideas, your expertise may just be anchor-bias. How do you know?

🔎 Curiosity – where openness creates the enabling environment, curiosity is the catalyst that drives us to ask “what if” and find new solutions. If you aren’t curious, your future will look a lot like your past. That’s incompatible with a startup building the future.

🤝 Collaboration – openness and curiosity are the key ingredients of collaboration. Building big things requires serious idea sharing, cross-learning, and collaborative people. PassiveLogic takes “big things” and collaboration and takes them to 11. If you can’t learn from others, your solutions will never scale beyond 1 person.

📐Rigor – where openness creates the environment, curiosity the catalyst, collaboration the mechanism — rigor provides the governance. Rigor is type 2 thinking, architectural design, the proof that given the marketplace of ideas “Option X” is demonstrably the best option for the problem set at hand.

🏃‍♂️Endurance - Sometimes the biggest ideas take weeks, months, or even years to come to fruition. Can you go the distance and keep a vision in your crosshairs, for not just a sprint, but an ultra-marathon?

Startups are the pro-sports of the business and tech world. PassiveLogic is also team sport. And all of these traits together are required to push beyond the typical silos of the industry.

If you want to take on the challenge of solving one of the most complex —and pressing— challenges in the world, join us.
