The UN Civil Society Conferences are an opportunity for communities, organizations, & cultures to come together and contribute their perspective on designated thematic issues. The theme of the 68th Civil Society Conference will be “Building Inclusive and Sustainable Cities and Communities.” The event is focused on Sustainable Development Goal 11(SDG 11) to “make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.” The Sustainable Development Goals 2030 are a blueprint for action, advocacy, and partnership for the global community led by the United Nations.

PassiveLogic is participating in the conference as part of the Emerging Technologies and Innovation sector. PassiveLogic’s technology contributes to the 4th Industrial Revolution, and is recognized as assisting in achieving specific pieces of SDG 11 such as “to ensure that cities and communities across all socio-economic contexts can harness innovation.”

CEO Troy Harvey states that “PassiveLogic is a disruptive technology that significantly reduces building energy usage and paves the way to smart cities via an automated energy economy grid.”

PassiveLogic will present how building automation systems are the key to unlock smart cities. No city or building is truly “smart” or sustainable until it understands its lack of efficiency as well as its future needs. PassiveLogic controls do both, constantly reiterating and analyzing based on changing conditions for optimal outcomes.

Harvey will be discussing our impact: “via affordable and scalable swarm technology, we address all buildings…PassiveLogic reduces the carbon footprint in the global economy.”

August 15, 2019.

PassiveLogic is developing the the first fully autonomous platform for buildings, built on digital twins from the ground up.
