PassiveLogic has been chosen as a leading technology company to join the conversation at the Sorenson Impact Winter Innovation Summit on February 6, 2020. The focus of the event was to open conversations among impact investors about how to use capital to catalyze transformations in neglected and overlooked markets.

In addition to the firms, funds, and family offices in attendance, a select group of entrepreneurs were asked to present their impact investment opportunities. Among other issues, the entrepreneur presentations addressed the fact that “Less than 2% of the $1.1 billion venture capital raised in Utah in 2017 went to female-founded companies.” The Summit provided a platform for great ideas and firms to take the stage and invite investors to reverse this trend.

Ms. Hallstrom introduced PassiveLogic at this event and addressed the importance of democratizing technology to make it accessible to all.
