PassiveLogic Hits the Slopes for Ski Networking Days
Here in Salt Lake City, we are fortunate to live very close to some world class mountains and skiing. In this city, it is possible to jump between the office and the slopes within 30 minutes, creating some unique opportunities for firms operating here. Instead of discussing business at the golf course or over lunch, Salt Lake City companies are hitting the slopes to share ideas and the greatest snow on Earth.
As a company made up of many skier-employees, PassiveLogic embraces this culture and has been taking to the mountain to meet new connections and spread the word on Autonomous Buildings. Within the past several weeks, PassiveLogic has been involved in three different ski networking events, including:
- Winter Innovation Summit Snow Day at Solitude, 2/07/2020
- ABQid Ski Lift Pitch Competition, 2/20/2020
- Mountain Mingle, 2/29/2020

At these gatherings, participating skiers wear brightly colored arm bands to identify each other on the mountain. From there it is a quick introduction to buddy up, a lift ride to share backgrounds and ideas, and a lap back down the hill (usually more skiing and fun than discussing business). The result is a laid back atmosphere that is great for making meaningful connections and partnerships. PassiveLogic is proud and grateful to be a part of such a unique tech and business community, and we are looking forward to future ski events!
