Troy Harvey to Speak on How Autonomous Buildings will Unite Industry Value-Chain at AEC BuildTech Conference

The inaugural interdisciplinary AEC BuildTech Conference & Expo will be hosted in Rosemont, Illinois this April 30-May 2, 2019. It has the mission to bring together the three industries — architecture, engineering, and construction — and spotlight “the latest design & build processes, products and emerging technologies.”

PassiveLogic CEO Troy Harvey is invited to be a speaker in the HVACR/Mechanical Systems track at 3:30 PM on Thursday, May 2. He will be presenting on how autonomous buildings will interact in smart city networks and reshape the marketplace. This session will outline PassiveLogic’s novel approach to automation and how it changes the game for installers, integrators, DBOMs, and HVAC companies. The session has been approved for AIA & IACET CEUs.

“Autonomous buildings are a monumental leap over mere building automation…built around the actual physics of building components and occupants, PassiveLogic’s on-board intelligence makes real-time, optimized control decisions and self-commissions the building, all without necessitating time-consuming and error-prone manual programming.” — Troy Harvey

The building automation industry is at a crucial point in which buildings are becoming exponentially more complex, yet the technology hasn’t evolved in decades. PassiveLogic introduces a new model of “whole building automation” with a 10X reduction in labor to program, deploy, and commission a system.

More details on what his talk will entail are featured in his profile in Engineered Systems.

April 27, 2019.

PassiveLogic is developing the the first fully autonomous platform for buildings, built on digital twins from the ground up.
