Larry Weber, Chief Operations Officer at PassiveLogic, will be speaking at the Realcomm | IBcon Real Estate Conference and Expo 2022 on Tuesday, June 14th in Orlando, Florida.

Realcomm | IBcon is an annual conference focused on the advancement of buildings through forward-thinking business solutions and innovative technologies. The Realcomm segment of the conference focuses on “automated business solutions and state-of-the-art enterprise technologies for the commercial and corporate real estate industry” — while IBcon serves as “the world’s leading event on the next generation of smart, connected, high-performance, net-zero, sustainable, intelligent buildings.”

Larry Weber will be participating at IBcon as an opening speaker for the session “MSI’s Role in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for Buildings.” The session will focus on exploring paths to meet SDGs by educating building owners on the modern tools and technologies needed “to reach zero energy consumption and healthy indoor air quality without spending a premium in construction costs.”

Officially adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 global goals created “to [provide] a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future.” In addition to goals such as providing clean water and clean energy, Goal 11 of the SDG aims to “make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable” — an objective that can be addressed through the continued advancement of master system integrators (MSI).

In his introduction of the IBcon session, Larry will share how the PassiveLogic Generalized Platform for Autonomy can enable buildings to reach net zero goals by creating the foundation for future smart cities through artificial intelligence and deep digital twin technologies — improving building management system (BMS) user accessibility and reducing energy consumption of buildings by up to 30%.

Larry Weber joined PassiveLogic as Chief Operations Officer in July 2021. Larry previously led JCI’s Asia Pacific region as General Manager, and before that led Honeywell’s controls division. As a veteran in the building controls industry, Larry’s deep industry experience has been fundamental in leading operations at PassiveLogic, as well as building and strengthening relationships with key industry partners.

Craig Stevenson from AUROS Group will be moderating the IBcon session. Speakers will include Rudy Bohnice, Joe Gaspardone, and Jason Whipple. The session will take place on Tuesday, June 14th from 2:55 PM to 3:40 PM at location W312A.
